About Selan Exploration Tech
Selan Exploration Technology Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the business of oil and gas exploration and production. The Company holds a portfolio of three oil and gas fields: Bakrol, Lohar and Karjisan, which are located in Gujarat. The Bakrol field is a productive oil field located in the Cambay Basin, approximately 16 kilometers (km) south-east of Ahmedabad city, which covers an area of 36 square kilometers (sq. km). The Bakrol field's reservoir zones are K-VIII and K-IX of the Kalol formation from the Middle Eocene age. The Lohar field is located approximately 35 km west-north-west of Ahmedabad city, which covers an area of five sq. km. The Karjisan field covers an area of around five sq. km, which is located in Ahmedabad-Mehsana tectonic block of the Cambay Basin. The Karjisan field's producing reservoir zones are K-III and K-IV of the Kalol formation from the Middle Eocene age. Additionally, there are hydrocarbon-bearing zones within the K-VI to K-XI zone.
