SUMMARY

An NFO is the first-time subscription offer for a new mutual fund, serving as an entry point for investors and allowing them to invest in it at a low NAV before it opens for regular subscriptions in the market. Open-ended schemes remain open for purchasing and redeeming after the NFO period ends.

During the NFO period, one can invest in the fund offer at a low NAV, which is generally ₹10.

NFOs are open for subscription for a limited period, after which they become open-ended or get listed as a closed-ended scheme.

Mutual fund companies are still offering several new fund offers (NFOs) that are about to close for subscription soon. NFOs allow early investing in new mutual fund schemes before they become available for investment through various platforms.
