The stock climbed 14.76% to ₹3,002 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at close.
The renewable energy company logged a 34.1% jump in its consolidated post-tax profit to ₹618.91 crore in the March quarter of FY25 as against ₹461.52 crore in the same period the previous year.
Revenue from operations increased 36.38% to ₹4,003.93 crore in the reporting quarter, compared to ₹2,935.84 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) advanced 120.6% to ₹922.6 crore in Q4 FY25 from ₹418.3 crore in the March quarter of FY24. The margin was 23% vs 14.3% a year back.
The firm produced 2.06 gigawatt (GW) in the quarter under review vs 1.35 GW in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Waaree Energies CEO Amit Paithankar said, "FY25 marks a pivotal inflection point in Waaree’s journey—a year where our strategy, scale, and execution converged to deliver industry-leading EBITDA performance of ₹3,123.20 crore. This performance underscores the strength of our execution capabilities and the quality of the order book, with centred focus on margins."
He noted there are encouraging demand trends in the market. "Our 1.6 GW module manufacturing facility is operational in Brookshire, Texas, USA. This reinforces our commitment to the American market and underlines our local-for-local manufacturing philosophy. Our strategy of local manufacturing and supply chain management will help us navigate through the changing policy environment," Paithankar said.
Waaree's EBITDA outlook for the fiscal year 2026 is around ₹5,500 crore to ₹6,000 crore, the CEO added.
The company's order book stands at 25 GW worth ₹47,000 crore.
