Most renewable energy stocks settled in red on a weekly basis amid escalating trade war concerns between the United States of America (USA) and China.
This comes at a time when US President Donald Trump has suspended additional tariffs on India for 90 days until July 9, 2025. However, a 10% baseline tariff will remain in effect.
The benchmark indices climbed on Friday. NIFTY rose 1.92% to 22,828, while SENSEX fell 1,310 points to 75,157.

On April 8, the company announced the successful commissioning of the second part capacity of 90 megawatts (MW) of the 150 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-I at Dayapar, Bhuj, Gujarat.
The first part, with a capacity of 50 MW, started commercial operations in November 2023.
The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹1,41,691.71 crore.
On March 31, the renewable energy company announced that Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited, a wholly owned step-down arm of the company, operationalised a 25 MW incremental solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
The scrip hit its 52-week low of ₹1,863 on April 7 and 52-week high of ₹3,743 on November 6.
The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹61,852.07 crore.
On April 3, the firm announced the incorporation of the wholly owned unit Premier-Green Aluminium Pvt Ltd.
