Tata Consumer share price: Shares of FMCG major Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) declined on Thursday after the company announced its results for the fourth quarter ended March 2025.

The stock fell 1.69% to ₹1,130.7 apiece on the National Stock Exchange at 11:16 am.

Tata Consumer Products recorded a 59.18% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹344.85 crore in the latest January-March quarter due to volume growth in the domestic market and moderate price hike in some portfolios. The post-tax profit was ₹216.63 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations climbed 17.34% to ₹4,608.22 crore in the quarter under review, compared to ₹3,926.94 crore a year back.

"We ended the year with a strong quarter, accelerating the momentum further. We delivered a topline growth of 17% during the quarter, bringing FY25 growth to 16%. The growth was broad-based across India and the international business in line with the earlier trend," Sunil D’Souza, the company's managing director and CEO, said.

"During the year, we recorded growth in our core businesses of India tea and salt in addition to driving strong growth in Tata Sampann and Tata Soulfull. While the RTD business was impacted in the earlier part of the year, we have seen a strong rebound as we exit the year," he added.

In Q4 FY25, India beverages" business revenue expanded by 18.43% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,936.72 crore, while its international business grew 13.4% to ₹1,193.68 crore.

Its revenue from "total branded business' rose 17% to ₹4,130.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2025, compared to ₹3,532.03 crore in the same period a year ago.

"Salt revenue grew 13%, with the value-added salt portfolio growing 31%," the company said in an earnings statement.
