Shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies advanced nearly 14% today to hit their 52-week high of ₹1,170.
NIFTY50 and SENSEX are on the rise in today’s trading session. At 1:00 PM, the SENSEX was up 1200 points, or 1.56%, at 78,244, while the broader NIFTY50 index rose 325 points, or 1.39%, to 23,762. Benchmark indices are trading higher for the fourth consecutive day.
Broader market indices like NIFTY Midcap100 (+0.2%) and NIFTY Smallcap100 (+0.4%) also traded higher today. As many as 50 stocks hit a 52-week high on the NSE.
The volatility index, or India VIX, rose over 3.2% to 16.3. Among the key sectoral indices, NIFTY Oil & gas (+0.7%) and NIFTY Pharma (+0.7%) were the top gainers, while NIFTY IT (-1.2%) was the top loser.

ICICI Bank shares rise ahead of its March quarter results. The private lender is expected to achieve robust double-digit growth in its Q4 net profit, while net interest income (NII) is also expected to increase. ICICI Bank’s board likely to announce final dividend.
HDFC Bank shares rose 1.8% today to hit a 52-week high of ₹1,912.80 per share. HDFC Bank shares have outperformed the markets by rising over 7.9% so far this year.
Waaree Renewable shares rise after reporting robust Q4 results. The company posted an 83% YoY jump in its consolidated net profit for the March quarter at ₹93.76 crore. Its total income increased 74.83% YoY to ₹481.43 crore in the reporting quarter as against ₹275.35 crore in Q4FY24.
