RVNL share price: Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) will be in the spotlight on Thursday, February 19, as it received a letter of award (LoA) for a project worth ₹1,201 crore from the Northern Railway.

The railway CPSE said that it received the order for the “design and construction of a new rail cum road bridge No. 11 over the river Ganga, 50 meters downstream of the existing old Malviya bridge near Kashi Railway Station.”

The scope of the project also includes the design and construction of the sub-structure and super-structure of the bridge for four line tracks on the lower deck and a six-lane road on the upper deck.

It also comprises railway and road approaches as per the general arrangement drawing (GAD), along with associated overhead equipment (OHE) works and general electric works in the Lucknow division of the Northern Railway at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The project, worth ₹1,201.36 crore (or ₹1,201,35,69,000 including taxes), will be undertaken via a joint venture, in which RVNL holds a 60% stake, while GPT Infraprojects holds the remaining 40% stake.

RVNL Q3 results

RVNL reported a 4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit to ₹324 crore in the third quarter of FY26, compared to ₹312 crore posted in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations increased by 2.6% YoY to ₹4,684 crore for the reporting quarter from ₹4,567 crore in the December quarter of FY25.

At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹220.8 crore for Q3FY26, down 8% YoY from ₹239.4 crore in the same period last year.

Shares of RVNL closed 0.29% higher at ₹309.25 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.
