IREDA shares rise over 5% ahead of Q4 results announcement

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IRDEA) posted a 27% year-on-year (YoY) growth in sanctioned loans at ₹47,453 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4FY25), compared to ₹37,354 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The Navratna PSUs' loan disbursement stood at ₹30,168 crore in Q4FY25, jumping 20% YoY from ₹25,089 crore in the March quarter of the 2023-24 financial year (Q4FY24).

The non-banking financial institution’s loan book surged 28% YoY to ₹76,250 crore in Q4FY25 as against ₹59,698 crore in Q4FY24.

IREDA December quarter results

In the December quarter of FY25, IREDA’s net profit (or profit after tax) stood at ₹425.4 crore, surging 26.8% YoY to ₹425.4 crore in contrast to ₹335.5 crore in Q3FY24.

The PSU’s net interest income (NII) was at ₹622.3 crore, increasing 38.9% YoY from ₹448.1 crore in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations increased 35.6% YoY to ₹1,698.5 crore in Q3FY25 from ₹1,208.1 crore in the corresponding period last year.

IREDA share performance

Shares of IREDA gained 1.44% last week and 0.85% since the beginning of April. The scrip lost 24.74% on a year-to-date basis.

The stock hit a 52-week low of ₹137.01 on March 17, 2025, and a high of ₹310 on July 15, 2024.

IREDA has a total market capitalisation of ₹43,488.03 crore as of April 15, 2025, on the NSE.
