UltraTech Cement: Shares of UltraTech Cement on Thursday, February 27, declined as much as 6.36% to ₹10,266.05 apiece on the NSE in the early deals after the company announced its entry into the wires and cables segment.
UltraTech Cement said it would invest ₹1,800 crore to set up a plant in Gujarat over the next two years as part of plans to expand its footprint in the construction value chain. The plant will be set up near Bharuch in Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned by December 2026. READ MORE
Polycab, KEI Industries, and others: Shares of leading companies in the wires & cables segment tumbled up to over 17% after UltraTech announced its entry into the space.

At the time of writing this article, KEI Industries was trading 17.85% lower at ₹3,120.05, while Polycab India shares were trading 15% lower on the NSE.

RR Kabel stock was down over 12% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), while Havells India and Finolex Cables shares were trading 5% and nearly 6% lower, respectively.
Coforge: Shares of Coforge, the mid-cap IT company, slipped as much as 2.2% to ₹7,465.05 apiece on the NSE after the company on Wednesday, in its regulatory filing, said that the board will consider a stock split in a meeting scheduled for March 4, 2025. READ MORE
Mastek: Shares of Mastek, the mid-tier IT company, surged as much as 4.39% to ₹2,465 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, February 27, as the company on Wednesday announced it had won a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract from the UK Public Service Department.

However, the stock erased all the gains and was trading lower around noon deals. Last seen, shares of the company were trading at ₹2,342.80, down 0.78%.

Tata Power: Tata Power shares were trading over 2% lower at ₹342.65 apiece on the BSE in the overall weak market.
Tata Power has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam Government to tie up and support up to 5,000 megawatts of renewable and clean energy projects with ₹30,000 crore investment over the next five years. READ MORE
KPI Green Energy: KPI Green Energy shares jumped more than 4.5% intraday on Thursday, February 27, after the company announced signing initial agreements with the Madhya Pradesh government for 1.8 GW of renewable energy projects.

However, at the time of writing this article, the stock was 0.34% lower at ₹396.30 apiece on the NSE.

INOX India: Shares of INOX India were trading 11% higher at ₹1,004.75 apiece on the BSE.

On Monday, February 24, INOX India, one of the leading cryogenic technology solution providers, said it has achieved a historic milestone by becoming India’s first cryogenic equipment manufacturer to receive the prestigious IATF 16949 certification for cryogenic fuel tank manufacturing. The certification, issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, covers the design and manufacturing of vacuum-insulated cryogenic fuel tanks.

Azad Engineering: Shares of Azad Engineering were trading over 5% lower at ₹1,286.90 apiece on the BSE. The company has launched its QIP issue to raise ₹700 crore from qualified institutional investors.

Azad Engineering's board of directors approved the qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue on Tuesday, February 25, at the floor price of ₹1,303.08 per equity share. This is nearly 4% lower than the closing price of ₹1,355.2 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday.
