Dmart’s parent company, Avenue Supermarts Ltd (ASL), on Thursday, April 3, reported its fourth quarter business update in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.

The retail chain’s standalone revenue from operations increased 16.69% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹14,462.39 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4FY25), compared to ₹12,393.46 crore in the March quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal year (Q4FY24).

The company’s revenue grew 39.91% over two years from ₹10,337.12 crore it reported in Q4FY23. Further, the top-line growth over three years was 68.05% from ₹8,606.09 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2021-22 financial year (Q4FY22).

The total number of stores as of March 31, 2025, stood at 415, ASL said in the regulatory filing.

Dmart share performance

Shares of Dmart’s parent company, Avenue Supermarts Ltd closed in the green at ₹4,157.80, up 0.88% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). However, the company reported its December quarter business update after market hours.

The stock gained 1.81% over four days and 19.95% in March. The scrip climbed 16.73% on a year-to-date basis.

Dmart reached its 52-week low of ₹3,340.00 on March 3, 2025 and a high of ₹5,484.85 on September 24, 2024.

Dmart third quarter results

Avenue Supermarts Ltd’s consolidated net profit stood at ₹723.54 crore in the third quarter of FY25, jumping 4.8% YoY from ₹690.41 crore in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations increased by 17.68% to ₹15,972.55 crore in Q3FY25, compared to ₹13,572.47 crore in Q3FY24.

ASL’s profit after tax (PAT) margin was at 4.5% in Q3 FY25 versus 5.1% in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total expenses increased 18.52% to ₹ 15,001.64 crore.
