Park Medi World share price: Shares of hospital chain Park Medi World debuted at ₹158.8 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, December 17. This reflects a discount of 1.98% against the IPO issue price of ₹162.

On the BSE, the stock listed at ₹155.60 per share, down 3.95% from the issue price.

Park Medi World share price: Here's how much investors lost

A lot consisted of 92 shares. Investors who received Park Medi World IPO allotment saw their investment value drop to ₹14,609.6.

The ₹920 crore initial share sale was a mix of new equity shares worth ₹770 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹150 crore by promoter Ajit Gupta.

Money generated to the tune of ₹380 crore will be utilised for debt repayment, ₹60.5 crore to develop a new hospital and expand the existing hospital by its units – Park Medicity (NCR) and Blue Heavens, Park Medicity (NCR) – and ₹27.45 crore for purchase of medical equipment.

A portion will also be used for unidentified inorganic acquisitions and corporate general needs.

The initial share sale, with a price band of ₹154 to ₹162 per share, got 8.10 times subscription, as investors applied for 33,88,30,572 shares against 4,18,18,182 shares on offer.

Before the IPO, the company mobilised ₹276 crore from anchor investors, including Kotak Mutual Fund (MF), Taurus MF, Allianz Global Investors Fund, Societe Generale and Reliance General Insurance Company, among others.

Park Medi World Ltd is the second-largest private hospital chain in North India, operating under the Park brand. It has an aggregate bed capacity of 3,000 beds. It is the largest private hospital chain in Haryana in terms of bed capacity, with 1,600 beds as of March 2025, according to a Crisil report
