Denta Water IPO closed with a bumper subscription on Friday, January 24, led by Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs). After the successful subscription, the company is expected to finalise the IPO share allotment status on Monday, January 27.
The ₹220.5-crore IPO comprised a fresh issue of 75 lakh equity shares, which opened for bidding on January 22. The mainboard IPO received bids for more than 116.29 crore shares against 52.5 lakh shares on offer, leading to an overall subscription of 221.52 times.
The IPO of the water management infrastructure services provider received bids for more than 23.71 crore shares in the retail category against 26.25 lakh shares on offer. The retail portion was booked 90.33 times. The NIIS applied for over 57.04 crore shares against 11.25 lakh shares set aside for them, leading to a subscription of 507.05 times in the category.
The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) applied for more than 35.54 crore shares against 15 lakh shares reserved for the segment. The QIBs booked their quota nearly 237 times.
Investors who participated in the bidding process can check the Denta Water IPO share allotment status on the websites of the NSE, BSE, and the issue registrar, Integrated Registry Management Services Pvt. Ltd.
The investors can also check the IPO allotment status on the BSE website using PAN and application number details.
Denta Water and Infra Solutions offers services related to water engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The company is primarily engaged in designing, installing, and commissioning water management infrastructure projects.
The company plans to allocate ₹150 crore from the IPO funds to meet the company’s working capital requirements in FY25 and FY26. A portion of the funds will also be used for general corporate purposes.

Between FY22 and FY24, the company's revenue from operations rose at a CAGR of 41.2%, while net profit rose 24.8% during the same period. Meanwhile, the Indian water and wastewater treatment market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.2%, reaching $23.85 billion by 2033, up from $13.10 billion in 2023.
