Denta Water IPO: The basis of allotment of Denta Water and Infra Solutions Ltd was finalised on Tuesday, January 28. The initial share sale, which received a massive response from all investors category, was subscribed nearly 222 times.
According to the consolidated data on the NSE, the initial public offer received bids for 1,16,38,18,100 shares against 52,50,000 shares on offer, leading to a total subscription of 221.68 times.
Non-institutional investors (NIIs) led the bidding as they subscribed their portion 507.27 times. They submitted applications for 57,06,83,300 shares against 11,25,000 shares set aside for them.
The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) quota was subscribed 236.94 times as they applied to 35,54,07,600 shares compared to 15,00,000 shares on offer.
The portion for retail individual investors (RIIs) attracted 90.56 times the subscription, as bids were received for 1,16,38,18,100 shares against 52,50,000 shares reserved.
Shares of Denta Water and Infra Solutions Ltd will hit the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the BSE on Wednesday, January 29, at 10 am.
The initial share sale was a fresh issue worth ₹220.50 crore without an offer-for-sale component. The price range was ₹279-₹294 per share. Investors were allowed to bid for at least one lot, consisting of 50 shares, worth ₹14,700.
The money generated will be used to meet working capital needs and corporate general purposes.
Denta Water and Infra Solutions, founded in 2016, is a key player in water engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services.
It has completed 32 water management projects, of which 11 were undertaken as the main contractor, 20 under a subcontract arrangement with the main contractor, and one under a consortium/joint venture arrangement.

Between FY22 and FY24, the company's revenue from operations rose at a CAGR of 41.2%, while net profit rose 24.8% during the same period. Meanwhile, the Indian water and wastewater treatment market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.2%, reaching $23.85 billion by 2033, up from $13.10 billion in 2023.
India is the largest consumer of groundwater, with 50% of the rural population relying on it for basic needs. With operations concentrated in South India and its focus on groundwater recharging and lift irrigation projects, Denta Water and Infra Solutions aligns with the industry’s demand for sustainable water management solutions.
