    Outlook for FY26

    During FY26, the cement industry is expected to achieve 6.5-7.5% demand growth fuelled by infrastructure projects, rural recovery and real estate momentum. While there are external challenges in terms of geopolitical conflicts and trade barriers by key economies, the ability of the industry in general and Shree Cement in particular to balance growth with sustainability and cost efficiency will be critical to building a new India.

    • Total cement and clinker sale volume reached 9.84 million tonnes, which is the ever-highest quarterly volume achieved by the company

    • Sales of premium products stood at 15.6% of trade sale volume vs 11.9% in Q4 FY24

    • In April 2025, the company commissioned (i) a cement grinding unit in Etah, Uttar Pradesh (3.00 MTPA) (through its wholly owned subsidiary) and (ii) another cement grinding unit at Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh (3.40 MTPA)

    Commenting on the earnings, Berger Paints MD and CEO Abhijit Roy said:

    "The tough market conditions continued into the fourth quarter with muted urban demand and increased competition intensity. In spite of this we were able to deliver high single-digit volume growth, with sequential improvement in value performance with reduced gap between volume-value growth gap, supported by easing impact of Q4 FY24 price reductions and momentum in the premium emulsion category. The visible improvement in the industrial and decorative segments were good indicators of a demand improvement cycle.

    We remain optimistic about the demand scenario for the months ahead on the back of the favorable budget get announcements, government spending on infrastructure & development and a good monsoon season. The strained geopolitical conditions in the immediate neighbourhood seems to have stabilized which hopefully will continue.”

  17. Berger Paints Q4: Consolidated net profit rises 18% YoY

    • Revenue advances 7.3% to ₹2704.03 crore versus ₹2,520.28 crore.

    • Net profit rises 17.7% to ₹262.02 crore versus ₹222.10 crore.

    EBIDTA (excluding other income) for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, was ₹427.8 crore as against ₹350.9 crores in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year, representing an increase of 2 1.9% over the corresponding period of last financial year.

    The board recommended a dividend pay of ₹3.80 (380%) per equity share of the face value of ₹1 each fully paid-up for the financial year 2024-25 subject to approval of the shareholders at the 101st Annual General Meeting.

  23. HAL Q4: Earnings per share slips to ₹59.46

    Earnings per share (EPS) slipped to ₹59.46 from ₹64.43 seen in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

    Hindustan Aeronautics has a robust order book worth ₹1.9 lakh crore as of FY25, which improves long-term growth visibility. In April 2025, the company secured its biggest-ever order, worth ₹62,700 crore, to manufacture and supply 156 indigenous Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) to Indian defence.

    On March 27, Hindustan Aeronautics, through its exchange release, said it has started receiving 99 F404-IN20 engines from GE Aerospace. These engines will be used in Tejas Mk 1A fighter aircraft. The company received an order for 83 Tejas Mk-1A (Light Combat Aircraft) in FY21, delivery of which was expected to start in FY24. However, delay in engine supply impacted delivery timeline.

  26. Lupin shares trade 1% lower ahead of Q4 earnings

    Lupin shares are trading down ahead of its January-March quarter earnings announcement.

    The stock is down 0.97% on the NSE to trade at ₹2,044.4 per share.

    For Q3 FY25, the pharma major had reported a 38.8% rise in its consolidated net profit or profit after tax (PAT) at ₹858.9 crore as compared to ₹618.7 crore logged in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

    Sales for the December quarter increased 10.6% to ₹5,618.6 crore as against ₹5,079.9 crore registered in the same quarter last fiscal year.

    EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation, jumped 32.1% to ₹1,409.6 crore. It was ₹1,067.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

    EBITDA margin zoomed 408 basis points (bps) to 25.1% from 21%.

  27. Tata Power shares rise ahead of Q4 earnigns

    Shares of Tata Power are trading 1.3% higher on the NSE ahead of its earnings announcement.

    For the December quarter, Tata Power had posted a 10% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,187.54 crore as against ₹1,076.12 crore in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, the company’s net profit grew 8.6%, up from ₹1,093 crore in Q3 FY24.

    Its revenue from operations increased 4.83% YoY to ₹15,391.06 crore as compared to ₹14,651 crore posted in the year-ago quarter.

    In Q3 FY25, the company’s consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were at ₹3,481 crore, up 7% YoY. For the first nine months of the current fiscal year (9M FY25), the company posted revenue and net profit of ₹47,174 crore and ₹3,909 crore, respectively.

    In the December (Q3FY25) quarter, Hindustan Aeronautics registered a consolidated net profit of ₹1,433 crore, up 14% YoY, while its revenue from operations stood at ₹6,957 crore, up 14.7% YoY during the same period. The company reported revenue of ₹14,769 crore in Q4FY24 and net profit of ₹4,292 crore.
