BHEL reports 3% growth in net profit for Q4FY25; recommends ₹0.50 per share dividend

BHEL shares jump 2.45% as net profit jumps 3% for Q4FY25

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) jumped 2.45% after the company reported a 3% YoY jump in the net profit at ₹504 crore. Further, the board of directors also recommended a dividend of ₹0.50 per share.

The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter jumped 8.8% YoY to ₹8,993 crore for Q4FY25 as against ₹8,260 crore. The power segment, which derives nearly 80% of the revenue, witnessed flat growth. While the industry segment witnessed 33% jump in the revenue which cushioned the overall growth.

On the operational front, the earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation were 14.2% YoY to ₹831 crore as compared to ₹727 crore for Q4FY25. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 9.24% as against 8.8% in the previous year similar quarter.

Lastly, the net profit for the quarter grew by 3% YoY to ₹504 crore as against ₹489 crore in the previous year's similar quarter. Similarly, for FY25, the net profit grew to ₹512 crore as against ₹259 crore in FY24
