Defence major, Hindustan Aeronautics will announce its March quarter results today. The results are expected to announced after market hours followed by analyst/ investor meeting on Friday 16th May.
In the December (Q3FY25) quarter, Hindustan Aeronautics registered a consolidated net profit of ₹1,433 crore, up 14% YoY, while its revenue from operations stood at ₹6,957 crore, up 14.7% YoY during the same period. The company reported revenue of ₹14,769 crore in Q4FY24 and net profit of ₹4,292 crore.
Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics along with other defence stocks are in the spotlight in recent weeks amid India-Pakistan conflict. So far this month, the stock rose nearly 5%, while its up 12.7% year-to-date.
Hindustan Aeronautics has robust order book worth ₹1.9 lakh crore as of FY25, which improves long-term growth visibility. In April 2025, the company secured its biggest-ever order worth ₹62,700 crore to manufacturer and supply 156 indigenous Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) to Indian defence.
On March 27, Hindustan Aeronautics though its exchange release said it has started receiving 99 F404-IN20 engines from GE Aerospace. These engines wil be used in Tejas Mk 1A fighter aircraft. The company received an order for 83 Tejas Mk-1A (Light Combat Aircraft) in FY21, delivery of which was expected to start in FY24. However, delay in engine supply impacted delivery timeline. Experts believer, this event allay investors' execution risk concerns, and provide revenue visibility.
During the quarterly result announcement, investors will keenly watch total order book and new order win during the quarter. Management commentary on revenue and visibility will also be tracked along with dividend announcement.
