Hindalco reported revenue of ₹55,994 crore in Q4FY24 and net profit of ₹3,174 crore.

Hindalco Industries, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group will announce its March quarter results today. The results are expected to announced afternoon hours followed by analyst/ investor meeting at 4:30 pm on 20 May.

In the December (Q3FY25) quarter, Hindalco Industries registered a consolidated net profit of ₹3,735 crore, up 60% YoY, while its revenue from operations stood at ₹58,390 crore, up 10% YoY during the same period. The company reported revenue of ₹55,994 crore in Q4FY24 and net profit of ₹3,174 crore.

Ahead of Q4 result announcement, Hindalco Industries shares are trading 1.8% higher in morning trades at ₹670.5 per share on NSE. So far in 2025, the stock has delivered over 11% return to investors.

As per experts, Hindalco Industries could report upbeat quarterly results. Its consolidated revenue is expected to increase 3-11% YoY to ₹57,850 to ₹62,350 crore, while its net profit could rise by 20-60% YoY to ₹3,850 to ₹5,100 crore on back on higher aluminium and alumina prices.

Hindalco Industries recently gave earnings update about its US-based subsidiary, Novelis Inc, which the company acquired in 2007. Novelis reported net income attributable to common shareholders at $294 million, up 77% YoY in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025. Higher profitability was driven by favorable metal price lag, gains in unrealized derivatives, and a lower income tax provision.

What should investors look forward to?

During the Q4 result announcement, investors will look forward to management commentary on overall business outlook as well as final dividend announcement for FY25.
