HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) on Thursday, announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4 FY25), posted an 18% increase in its profit after tax (PAT) to ₹638.5 crore as against ₹541 crore in the year-ago period.
Sequentially, the net profit of the company declined marginally as compared to ₹642 crore reported in the December 2024 quarter.
Revenue from operations of the company jumped 30% to ₹901 crore in Q4 FY25 against ₹695 crore in the same period of FY24.
Total income of the firm surged by 20.5% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1025.5 crore in the March quarter as compared to ₹851.22 crore in Q4 FY24, HDFC AMC said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
The board of the company also recommended a final dividend of ₹90 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, pending approval from the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
The final dividend, if approved by the shareholders, will be dispatched within applicable regulatory timelines after the AGM.
HDFC AMC is an investment manager for HDFC Mutual Fund, which is one of the leading mutual funds in the country.
Shares of HDFC AMC ended 2.13% up at ₹4,218 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, April 17, while its market capitalisation stood at ₹90,177 crore.
