“The Board of Directors of the Company have proposed/recommended, subject to approval of Members, a dividend of 75%, i.e., Rs.7.5/- per equity share of Rs.10 each,” the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
Following this, the company’s shares soared 2.12% at ₹655.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
The liquor maker on Tuesday posted a 30.21% decline in its standalone net profit at ₹60.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as compared to ₹86.64 crore in Q4 FY24.
GM Breweries’ revenue from operations increased marginally higher at 663.13 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25 as against 623.24 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 17% to ₹29 crore, while operating margin improved to 17.2% from 15.5%.
The small-cap stock has gained nearly 6% in the last 5 trading sessions. Year-to-date, GMBL shares have lost over 20.4%. For a six-month period, the scrip has tumbled nearly 19.5%.
According to NSE data, the company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹1,497.62 crore.
It had touched its 52-week low of ₹579.95 per share on April 3, 2025. It had touched one year on September 17, 2024, at ₹1,049 apiece.
On BSE, shares of GM Breweries also rose 2.06% at ₹654.45 during the intraday period.
GMBL is a manufacturer and markets alcoholic beverages such as country liquor (CL) and Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL). Its popular brands include G.M. Santra, G.M. Doctor, and G.M. Limbu Punch.
The Maharashtra-based company has an automatic bottling plant in Thane district with a capacity to produce about 50,000 cases a day. Initially, it had started producing 200 cases a day, which has now reached more than 50,000 cases a day.
