Adani Energy Q4 result: Net profit surges 79% to ₹647 crore, revenue up 35%

Adani Energy Solution announced a 43.8% increase in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) to ₹2,251.2 crore in Q4FY25 as against ₹1,565.7 crore in Q4FY24. The EBITDA margin was at 35.3% versus 33.3% last year.

Adani Energy Solutions on Thursday, April 24, announced a 79.14% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹647.5 crore in the March quarter of FY25, compared to ₹361.44 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The power transmission company’s revenue from operations stood at ₹6,374.58 crore in the quarter under review, jumping 35.42% YoY from ₹4,706.85 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2023-24 financial year (Q4FY24).

Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 43.8% YoY to ₹2,251.2 crore in Q4FY25 as against ₹1,565.7 crore in Q4FY24. The EBITDA margin was at 35.3% versus 33.3% last year.

During the quarter, the company's total income surged 35.86% to ₹6,596.39 crore from ₹4,855.18 crore in the same period a year ago.

Its expenses increased by 24.15% at ₹5,411.60 crore against ₹4,358.83 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

For the full FY25, AESL reported a net profit of ₹921 crore, lower than ₹1,195.61 crore in FY24.

AESL's total income rose to ₹24,446.55 crore in the full fiscal, up from ₹17,218.31 crore a year ago.

AESL, part of Adani portfolio, is into power transmission, distribution, smart metering, and cooling solutions.

Adani Energy Solutions stock performance

Shares of Adani Energy closed in the green at ₹961.70 apiece up 2.44% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday. The results were announced around market closing.

Adani Energy scrip surged 3.50% to an intra-day high of ₹971.70 per share price on April 24.

The stock gained 5.20% over the past four days and 10.29% since the beginning of April. The scrip has surged 19.29% on a year-to-date basis.

The company hit a 52-week low of ₹588 on November 27, 2024 and a high of ₹1,348 on August 1, 2024.

Adani Energy Solutions has a total market capitalisation of ₹1.16 lakh crore as of April 24, 2025, on the NSE.
