Gold rate slips on Akshaya Tritiya 2025, 24K Gold price falls ₹1,290 to ₹94,390; check latest prices

Gold prices trade lower on Akshaya Tritiya 2025 puja on Wednesday, April 30. At 3:00 pm, 24K gold traded at ₹94,390 per 10 grams, down ₹1290/ 10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹86,524 per 10 gram in the local markets.

Gold prices extends fall due to rise in the US dollar index against its major peers amid signals of easing US-China trade tensions, which reduced some safe-haven demand globally. Moreover, signs of easing in US tariffs’ impact as US President Trump signed orders to remove tariffs on some auto imports, has also weighed on gold prices.

Fall in gold prices on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya is positive for the gold demand. Many people purchase gold on Akshaya Tritiya as its considered to bring prosperity and increased wealth for the family and loved once.

In Mumbai markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹94,050 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹86,213 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold futures is also trading lower mirroring the losses witnessed in the international gold prices in morning trades. As of 3:00 pm, the MCX Gold June future was down 1.5% at ₹94,135 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹95,353 and day low of ₹94,088. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 1.2% or $40 lower at $3,291 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (April 30, 2025)

Silver prices are also trading lower in the local market, around ₹95,250 per kg, down 2.1%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for May delivery trades 2.9% lower at ₹ 94,049 per kg as of 3:00 pm, while international silver prices trade around $32.2 per troy ounce, down nearly 3%.
