Realty firm Omaxe Ltd will invest around ₹2,700 crore to modernise six bus terminals in Uttar Pradesh under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, the company said on Friday.

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has awarded the contract to BeTogether, a brand of Omaxe Group, to redevelop bus terminals in Ghaziabad, Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Ayodhya, and Lucknow (Amausi), the company said in a regulatory filing.

The total saleable area across these projects will be 45.59 lakh square feet, with a built-up area of 70.80 lakh square feet. The projects are expected to generate revenue of over ₹4,700 crore.

"The modernization of the six key bus terminals in Uttar Pradesh is a critical step in improving urban connectivity and infrastructure. Our mission is to create integrated, future-ready spaces that enhance commuter experiences while achieving economic growth," Omaxe said in the statement.

The revamped bus terminals will feature automated ticketing systems, digital displays, air-conditioned waiting lounges, escalators, lifts, and advanced security systems. Other facilities include modern toilets, food courts, banquet halls, retail outlets, studio apartments, and office spaces. The projects will also incorporate ample parking and EV charging stations.

The project-wise investment estimates include ₹757 crore for Kaushambi, ₹574 crore for Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), ₹559 crore for Ayodhya, ₹320 crore for Lucknow (Amausi), ₹293 crore for Prayagraj, and ₹180 crore for Ghaziabad.

Mohit Goel, Founder of BeTogether and Managing Director of Omaxe Ltd, said, "The modernisation of the six key bus terminals in Uttar Pradesh is a critical step in improving urban connectivity and infrastructure."

"With state-of-the-art transport facilities and modern commercial developments, these projects will not only improve public transit but also help unlock new opportunities for businesses and local communities," he added.

Founded in 1987, Omaxe Ltd is a leading real estate developer in India with a presence in 31 cities across eight states. The company has delivered around 135.84 million square feet of real estate projects since its inception.
