We would like to inform you that around 1000 scrips have been disapproved by the Exchange from their list of ‘Approved Securities for Margin Pledge’.

As a result of this, no new pledge shall be accepted for such disapproved scrips starting 22 July 2024.

If any of these scrips are already pledged with us, they will attract a higher haircut starting 29 July 2024. Which means, you will need to have additional funds to keep your positions intact.

In case there are any margin shortfalls, your positions will be squared off on or after 1st August 2024 to comply with the margin requirements.

The list of these 1000 scrips and the circular are attached for your reference.

We advise you to review your portfolio and make necessary adjustments to avoid any inconvenience.

All ITM Crude Oil / CRUDEOILM Option contracts on 17th JULY 2024 will be converted into Futures contracts.

To avoid square-off, ensure that you maintain sufficient margin for the Future contracts before 10.00 PM today.

On account of Muharram, Wednesday, 17 July 2024 is a trading holiday.

Keep in mind:

🔸 Equity and Derivative markets will be closed on 17 July. Trading will resume on 18 July
🔸 Commodities market will be open only from 5 PM - 11:30 PM on 17 July
🔸 Standard Fund Withdrawal requests placed after 8 AM on 16 July will be processed on 18 July
🔸 Instant Fund Withdrawal facility will not be available on 17 July

Due to an intermittent issue, BSE F&O orders are still in a pending status. We are working with the Exchange to resolve this and will notify you. This is an industry-wide issue.

As per SEBI’s circular on Quarterly Fund Settlement, please keep the following in mind -

Any funds in your Upstox account that haven't been utilised will be returned to your registered bank account by Saturday, 6 July 2024.

What you should do:

• - Please check your bank statement to verify and view the returned funds
• - To ensure you can trade on Monday, 8 July 2024, please add funds to your Upstox account in advance, as your account balance may be zero on that day. Know more: How can I transfer funds?
• - If you're using NEFT/RTGS, please add Upstox as a beneficiary at least 24 hours in advance, ideally by Friday, 5 July. Below are the beneficiary details:
